Key Features

  • Heirloom Lacquer Finish – With its subtly chequered patina, Fender’s Nitrocellulose Heirloom Lacquer perfectly demonstrates the elegance and vibe of a true vintage Fender instrument. It perfectly nails the vintage aesthetic while providing an overall more resonant tone and a reassuring assurance often only found in vintage examples.
  • TUSQ Nut – Self-lubricating, precision-cut nuts made with tone in mind!
  • Versatile S1 Switching – Activate both pickups in Series for thick, powerful humbucker-like tone.
  • Luminlay Side Dots – Designed for performance, Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots give you the vital assurance that your hands are in the correct position even before the stage lights go up.

Pure Vintage ’51 Telecaster

Fender’s Pure Vintage ’51 Telecaster pickups are faithful recreations of quite possibly the most historically important electric guitar pickups ever to be produced… the set that started it all! Constructed using period-correct fibre bobbins and cloth wire, non-staggered, unbevelled Alnico 3 magnets using Enamel-coated magnet wire for the neck and Formvar-coated wire in the bridge. These vintage-accurate pickups produce the esteemed shimmer and twang that early Teles are famed for, with a tight low end and balanced mids.

Quartersawn Modern D Maple Neck

Quartersawn necks are often regarded as one of the most standout features on some of the most premium and boutique guitars ever built. Not only does quartersawn maple arguably look much more desirable thanks to its characteristic straight grain pattern, but the lumber is also typically 50% more stable than an equivalent plain-sawn piece. The Modern D neck profile features a compound 10”-14” fingerboard radius with stainless steel frets and ‘Ultra’ rolled fingerboard edges. In combination with its satin lacquer finish, it has an effortless feel up and down the neck and offers a solid foundation for every style of music and player.

Fender Ultra Luxe Vintage Series

Want a premium American-made electric guitar with a vintage foundation, perfectly blended with modern performance-focused innovation? Then look no further than the Fender Ultra Luxe Vintage Series. Featuring classic wood combinations such as an Alder or Ash body with a quartersawn Maple neck with either Rosewood or Maple fingerboard, in partnership with vintage-accurate, Fender Pure Vintage pickups and Fender’s eye-catching Nitrocellulose Heirloom Lacquer finish. It’s easy to get transported back to the golden era of popular music and lose yourself in the inspiration of a vintage-inspired electric guitar. The addition of Fender’s reimagined ‘Ultra’ sculpted body contours and Modern D neck profile with compound 10”-14” fingerboard with ‘Ultra’ rolled edges and tapered neck heel offers even greater levels of comfort, ergonomics and limitless expression. It’s precision modern hardware with locking tuners, and self-lubricating TUSQ nut ensures ultimate stability and makes sure every Ultra Luxe Vintage guitar is stage and studio ready and is built to perform!
