Description

  • Deluxe Closet Classic – The Deluxe Closet Classic ageing perfectly replicates what would be described by collectors as mint condition. The finish shows some discolouration and oxidation; however, it still retains an honest shine.
  • 9.50” Radius – Fender’s modern fingerboard radius favoured by many for its comfort and versatility.
  • Premium Tonewoods – Utilising the classic Fender wood combination of an Ash body with Maple neck and fingerboard, this Strat offers the renowned tonal balance, brilliant articulation and resonant sustain that vintage Fenders are famed for.

Modern C-D Neck Profile

A compound neck profile that starts off as a modern C at the nut and transitions to a D shape towards the heel creating Fender’s most ergonomic and all-around most comfortable neck design. It provides the player with the most easiest transition to the higher register of the fingerboard while remaining comfortable in the first position for big open extended chord voicings.

‘54 Stratocaster Pickups

Fender’s most faithful recreations of the original pickups, which helped put the Stratocaster on the map! Wound in-house by the Fender Custom Shop, these pickups authentically reproduce the esteemed vintage Strat tones that can be heard on countless records. Made using hand-bevelled Alnico V magnets with a vintage correct stagger, Formvar wire, along with black fibre bobbins and cloth pull-back wire, these pickups produce the desirable bell-like glassy chime and rich sustain of the originals.
