Description

The Fender Custom Shop LE Bow Tie Telecaster Custom Relic is a distinctive take on a classic design blending vintage Tele character with premium Custom Shop craftsmanship and unique tonal twists. Finished in Black with a relic treatment it delivers a worn-in aesthetic that feels like a well-travelled instrument straight out of the case. The 2-piece select mahogany body adds a warmer richer tonal profile compared to traditional ash or alder giving you enhanced low-end depth and a smooth midrange that suits both clean and driven sounds. A quartersawn roasted maple neck shaped to a substantial 10/56 “V” profile provides a solid comfortable grip paired with a 3A rosewood fingerboard for a smooth playing surface. The compound 7.25 to 9.5 inch radius keeps chords feeling authentically vintage while allowing for easier bends higher up the neck. Equipped with a Lollar B.S. Tele bridge pickup and a Charlie Christian neck pickup this Tele delivers a wide tonal range from articulate bite to warm rounded textures. Finished with gold hardware and a distinctive aesthetic its a standout instrument with serious tonal depth.

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Guitar

Explore electric, acoustic and bass guitars across a wide range of playing styles, body shapes and specifications. The most useful differences include scale length, construction, pickup type, neck profile, materials and whether the instrument is intended for amplified, acoustic or hybrid use. Use the narrower guitar categories and feature tags to compare instruments with similar designs rather than relying on appearance alone.

Telecaster

The Telecaster is one of the most iconic electric guitars ever made, first introduced by Fender in the early 1950s. Known for its simple design, solid body, and distinctive twang, it became the go-to instrument for country, rock, blues, and punk players alike. Its two single-coil pickups deliver bright, cutting tones with great clarity, making it perfect for both rhythm and lead work. The Tele’s bolt-on neck, smooth playability, and rugged build have helped it remain a timeless classic — a true workhorse guitar that’s still inspiring musicians over 70 years after its debut.
