The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 63 Telecaster Relic Ice Blue Metallic captures the unmistakable sound feel and personality of an early-60s Telecaster . Built from a lightweight two-piece alder body it has a striking Ice Blue Metallic nitro lacquer finish that has been meticulously aged using Fenders Relic treatment recreating the appearance and feel of a well-played original. A pair of Fender Custom Shop hand-wound 63 Telecaster pickups delivers the signature combination of sparkling clarity cutting twang and rich warmth that made the Telecaster famous. A custom quartersawn maple neck with a medium-tint nitro finish is paired with a hand-selected AAA slab rosewood fingerboard combining authentic early-60s aesthetics with outstanding stability and comfort. The familiar 60 Style Oval “C” profile modern 9.5″ radius and narrow tall frets make everything from open chords to expressive bends feel effortless without sacrificing vintage character.
