Body and Neck
The FA-450CE has a jumbo body shape which offers a big, resonant sound that complements the low-end, thumping bass tones The body also has a cutaway for reaching those higher frets. The body itself is made from laminate mahogany with a striking laminate flame maple top that peaks through the sunburst finish.
The neck is made from nato with a “Modern C” shape and a 9.5” fingerboard radius which is comfortable for a wide range playing styles. The fingerboard is made from laurel which has a dark appearance and has a smooth, natural feel.
Built-In Electronics
To ensure you’re heard, the FA-450CE comes with built-in Fishman electronics. The preamp features an onboard tuner, as well as volume, bass, and treble controls for shaping your tone. With the built-in electronics in the FA-450CE, you can take it straight out the box and jump right into performing live or recording.
