Striking the perfect balance between era-accurate and tastefully upgraded, you’ve got a gloss black nitro finish complemented by a triple-bill of Custom Shop pickups, stunning gold hardware all over, and more. Custom Shop Fat ’60s Strat Pickups These Fender Custom Shop pickups deliver the iconic, sparkling Fender tone associated with the early ’60s. Their overwound design & vintage voicing offers clear, articulate single-coil sounds that are perfect for a wide range of musical styles, capturing the essence of the golden era of guitar building. Custom Shop Fat ’60s pickups are outfitted with beveled alnico 2 magnets, which offer warm lows, rich midrange and mellow highs, capturing the sound of aged pickups from the early ’60s for luscious vintage-inspired tones.
