Description

The Fender John 5 Phantom Telecaster Black is a boldly modernised Telecaster designed around John 5s distinctive approach to hard rock. Its commanding black finish and matching painted headcap create a clean cohesive appearance complemented by black hardware and a one-ply anodized pickguard. A nyatoh solid body is paired with a Custom John 5 Medium C maple neck while the 12-inch-radius ebony fingerboard provides a flatter playing surface for easier chording and effortless bends. DiMarzio D Activator humbuckers deliver high-output high-gain tones with tight low-end response searing clarity and harmonically rich crunch. For expressive pitch manipulation the Floyd Rose FRTS2000 double-locking tremolo provides excellent tuning stability and sustain through aggressive pull-ups and dive bombs. A streamlined layout combines a single master volume with a killswitch for scratch and stutter effects while three-position switching offers straightforward pickup selection. The signature neck plate adds John 5s original artwork as a distinctive finishing touch.
