Inspired by the iconic designs of Fender electric guitars, California Player acoustics evoke the west coast spirit of adventure and freedom, inviting musicians to explore their individual creativity and disrupt the status quo.

Crafted with an X-braced solid spruce top and sapele back and sides, the compact parlour-sized body of the Malibu Player produces a sweet, articulate voice that encourages players to reach for new chords and melodies. The Nato neck is designed with an easy-to-play slim “C”-shaped profile, a short 24" scale length, and a tilt-back 6-in-line headstock for a distinctive look born from Fender’s electric guitar DNA. Other notable details include vintage-style tuning machines for smooth, accurate tuning, a GraphTech® NuBone® nut and saddle for detailed harmonic character. With elegantly integrated controls for a sleek, modern look, the onboard Fishman® Flex preamp system allows faithful reproduction of the guitar’s natural sound when plugged into an amplifier or recording device.
