The Fortin 33 Fredrik Thordendal Signature Boost is a purpose-built high-gain shaping tool designed to push modern metal amplifiers into brutally tight aggressive territory. Developed with Meshuggah guitarist Fredrik Thordendal the 33 was created through extensive testing and fine-tuning to deliver the boost required for modern metal. Rather than functioning like a traditional overdrive pedal the 33 acts as a focused front-end boost that tightens the response of high-gain amplifiers while adding enhanced clarity articulation and harmonic aggression. The pedals streamlined single-knob design keeps operation fast and intuitive. As the control is increased the 33 drives the front end of your amplifier harder sharpening pick attack and helping riffs cut through dense mixes with greater authority. The pedal also features external amp channel switching functionality allowing players to automatically change amp channels when the pedal is engaged for seamless live performance integration. The Fortin 33 delivers exceptional reliability and highly focused modern metal performance in a compact pedalboard-friendly enclosure.
