Description

The Gibson Custom 1954 Les Paul Custom Staple Pickup Reissue VOS is a meticulous recreation of one of Gibsons most iconic early solid-body designs. Built by the Custom Shop it captures the look feel and tone of the original Black Beauty from its first full production year. A one-piece solid mahogany body with no weight relief delivers a dense resonant foundation while the nitrocellulose VOS finish gives it a gently aged appearance and broken-in feel straight out of the case. Its a guitar that balances elegance and power just like the originals. Equipped with a Staple pickup in the neck and a Soapbar P-90 in the bridge it offers a wide tonal range from warm articulate cleans to raw punchy drive. The chunky 50s D neck profile and ebony fingerboard provide a solid comfortable playing feel while premium components like CTS pots paper-in-oil capacitors and Kluson Waffleback tuners ensure reliable performance. Finished with gold hardware and classic Custom styling its a faithful reissue built for players who want authentic vintage character.
