Description

The Gibson Custom 1957 SJ-200 Light Aged is a faithful recreation of the legendary Super Jumbo known to players everywhere as the King of the Flat-Tops. With a thermally aged Sitka spruce top and AAA flamed maple back and sides it delivers massive projection sparkling highs and a full balanced low end. Finished with Murphy Labs Light Aged treatment it has all the character and feel of a well-played vintage original. A rounded two-piece maple neck with walnut stringer rosewood fretboard and mother-of-pearl graduated Crown inlays make this guitar a joy to play. The ornate Four Bar Moustache bridge detailed pickguard graphics and aged gold Gotoh tuners complete the unmistakable SJ-200 look. Supplied in a period-correct Lifton hardshell case its a stunning blend of tone style and history.
