The Gibson Custom 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS is a faithful recreation of a true vintage icon. Crafted with period-correct construction methods it features a 2-piece plain maple top and a lightweight mahogany body finished in a beautifully aged Bourbon Burst. The rounded medium C neck profile offers a substantial comfortable grip that invites expressive playing while narrow/tall frets enhance the clarity and presence of every note. Custombucker Alnico III pickups deliver the warm articulate tone that defined late-50s Les Pauls complete with authentic unpotted response and dynamic sensitivity. With vintage-style hardware hide glue construction and a meticulous VOS nitrocellulose finish this reissue captures the look feel and sound of an original 1958 model.
