The Gibson Custom 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue is a meticulously crafted revival of a legendary solidbody. Built using authentic vintage construction methods it features a plain maple top one-piece lightweight mahogany back and a chunky 50s-style neck for a bold full feel. With its VOS nitrocellulose finish and period-correct appointments it captures the essence of the original in look feel and tone. Unpotted Custombucker Alnico III pickups and paper-in-oil electronics provide rich articulate sound with vintage clarity while narrow historic frets contribute to a warm woody tonal character.
