The Gibson Custom 1967 Mahogany Flying V Maestro Vibrola VOS in Sparkling Burgundy captures the spirit of one of Gibsons boldest reintroductions. When the Flying V returned in 1967 it featured a refined aesthetic and the addition of a Vibrola tailpiece marking a new era for this radical shape. This Custom Shop recreation faithfully honours that moment delivering period-correct profiles contours and detailing with exceptional craftsmanship and vintage authenticity. Built from solid mahogany with no weight relief and finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer with a lightly aged VOS treatment it resonates with authority and presence. Dual Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups provide rich articulate vintage output while the Maestro Vibrola adds expressive pitch control. With a 60s SlimTaper C neck profile nylon nut and Indian rosewood fingerboard this Flying V combines historic accuracy with inspiring modern playability.
