The Gibson Custom Hummingbird Elegant Koa reimagines one of the worlds most iconic acoustic guitars with the striking beauty and distinctive voice of premium koa. As part of the Artisan Series it pairs a AAA Sitka spruce top with beautifully figured koa back and sides creating a vibrant articulate sound with sparkling highs that gradually develops greater warmth and tonal complexity over time. Finished in elegant Honey Burst gloss nitro lacquer this legendary dreadnought combines timeless craftsmanship with exceptional projection making it something very special. A comfortable Round-profile mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard provide a smooth familiar playing experience enhanced by elegant abalone inlays and premium appointments throughout. The factory-fitted L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system faithfully captures the guitars rich acoustic character for amplified performance while Grover Rotomatic tuners a TUSQ nut saddle and bridge pins ensure dependable tuning stability. Complete with a Gibson Custom hardshell case the Hummingbird Elegant Koa offers premium craftsmanship unmistakable style and inspiring performance.
