Description

The Gibson Custom Prewar SJ-200 Rosewood Light Aged Vintage Sunburst #21875016 is a faithful recreation of the rare rosewood-bodied pre-war Super Jumbo built for huge projection and golden-era vibe. A thermally aged red spruce top sits over a rosewood back and sides with a three-rope marquetry strip braced with traditional red spruce X-bracing and hot hide glue for power snap and sensitivity. The long 25.5″ scale and two-piece AAA maple neck with walnut stringer and a comfortable D profile feed sustain and note separation while the bound ebony fingerboard with graduated Crown inlays adds the perfect finishing touch Detail is everything here: an ebony SJ-200 Four Bar Moustache bridge with bone nut saddle and pins maximises resonance and the tortoise SJ-200 pickguard with multi-coloured dots and double border nails the look. The Murphy Lab Light Aged finish and lightly aged hardware deliver a played-in feel from day one with aged gold Grover Imperial tuners keeping things steady. It ships in a period-correct pre-war Red Line hardshell case to complete the package

They come in a wide range of styles, including steel string and classical designs, each with its own feel and tonal character. Body shape, wood choice, and construction all influence warmth, projection, and balance, making acoustics suitable for everything from gentle fingerstyle to confident strumming. Whether used for songwriting, practice, or performance, acoustic guitars provide a simple, honest connection between the player and the music.
