Gibson Custom Shop 1962 ES-330 Reissue Sixties Cherry #160249 is an electric guitar.

Description

The Gibson Custom Shop 1962 ES-330 Reissue brings back one of the most distinctive fully hollow electrics from the early 60s delivering an open resonant voice with vintage character throughout. Built with a three-ply maple and poplar body and no centre block it produces a lively airy tone with impressive acoustic presence even when played unplugged. Finished in VOS nitrocellulose lacquer it captures the look and feel of a well-preserved original while allowing the wood to resonate freely. A solid mahogany neck shaped to an Authentic 61 Thin “D” profile offers a fast comfortable playing feel paired with a bound rosewood fretboard and period-correct medium jumbo frets. The neck joins the body at the 16th fret staying true to original 62 construction for optimal bridge placement and feel. Loaded with a pair of Dogear P-90 pickups this ES-330 delivers everything from warm cleans to gritty expressive overdrive making it a versatile choice across a wide range of styles.

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.
