The Gibson J-45 Anniversary Limited Edition celebrates 100 years of Gibson flat-top craftsmanship with a premium version of the companys most iconic round-shouldered dreadnought. Finished in Cremona Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer this limited-edition J-45 combines a select bearclaw Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides for the warm balanced voice that has defined the model since its introduction in 1942. Rich low-end response focused mids and smooth trebles make it equally inspiring for songwriting recording and live performance. Elegant Custom Shop detailing reinforces the guitars premium status including multi-ply binding with abalone accents a matching abalone rosette and classic mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The teardrop pickguard and rosewood belly-up bridge with pyramid wing carving complete the unmistakable J-45 aesthetic while gold Grover open-back tuners provide dependable tuning stability. Equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system this anniversary model delivers natural amplified acoustic tone.
