The Gibson J-45 Original Autumn Burst is a premium electro acoustic guitar that celebrates the heritage of Gibsons legendary Workhorse. Trusted by generations of musicians for over 80 years the J-45 is renowned for its warm woody voice and distinctive round-shouldered dreadnought design. This Original model revisits its Jumbo roots with vintage-inspired appointments combining a solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The result is a rich expressive acoustic sound that preserves the unmistakable character of one of Gibsons most celebrated instruments. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern performance the J-45 Original features a mahogany neck with a comfortable SlimTaper profile and a rosewood fretboard adorned with mother-of-pearl dot inlays. Nickel-plated Grover open-back tuners and a rectangular rosewood bridge reinforce its classic styling while Gibson-exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA electronics capture the guitars natural acoustic voice with impressive realism. Soundhole-mounted controls make adjustments straightforward and the gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish completes its elegant appearance. A Gibson hardshell case is also included.
