Description

The Gretsch G9221 Electro-Acoustic Bobtail Steel Resonator marks a return to the original resonator designs providing you with a loud acoustic instrument perfect for delta blues and bluegrass. Equipped with a Fishman Nashville pickup you can plug in and use those same tones in a live setting. This guitar has a completely steel body for pure metallic blues tones and features an Ampli-Sonic “spider” cone diaphragm that allows your tone to reach the very far end of the room. This reissue of a 1930s has been designed with a long-body construction paired with a comfortable soft V-neck profile in order to capture the voice of the past generation of blues and ragtime musicians. If youre looking for a professional steel-body resonator performance which can also be used in live situations through an amplifier the Bobtail wont disappoint.
