Designed around Guilds iconic Starfire Bass platform this updated version features a slimmer body depth comfortable short 30.75″ scale length and inward-shifted neck placement. The semi-hollow construction produces warm natural resonance with impressive sustain and depth while the striking finish adds unmistakable vintage-inspired character. Lightweight comfortable and stage ready the Starfire I Bass is pure classic Guild. Equipped with Guilds BC-1 BiCoil pickup featuring Alnico V magnets and hum-resistant nickel covers the Starfire I Bass offers exceptional versatility. The push/pull vintage switch introduces an additional classic hollowbody-style voicing with enhanced presence and softened lows for retro character. Its mahogany neck features a Modern Thin U profile for smooth comfortable playability while the Indian rosewood fingerboard adds warmth and articulation. Combined with a Guild Bass Tune-O-Matic bridge and iconic harp tailpiece the Starfire I Bass delivers reliable performance.
