The Harmony Comet is a majestic semi-hollow electric taking clear inspiration from their original H72 '60s design. The double cutaway and in-line headstock strikes a stunning figure among the modern semi-hollow market.

Top Class Construction

Genuine mahogany specifically sourced for Harmony guitars makes up both the body and neck. This brings out the best of the classy finish and ensures steadfast stability. The “C” shape neck, medium jumbo frets and a 12 inch fretboard radius finely balance vintage touch and modern sleekness. Other quality details include custom cupcake dials and super stable locking tuners, TOM bridge and tailpiece.

Nitro Lacquer Finish

Harmony guitars are made to wear in graciously over time. No two instruments here will ever look the same. Nitro lacquer has thinning qualities, allowing the colour underneath to fade through playing stress and ageing, all the while maintaining a glossy hue in perfect conditions.

Custom Gold Foil Pickups

Hand wound and custom-voiced, Harmony's custom gold foil humbuckers deliver a unique, rich sound. Explore a a massive sonic palette from full and warm cleans to crisp aggression. Tap into more tonal variety using the push/pull to set the pickups out of phase. All switching and volume/tone swells are on point thanks to top class orange drop capacitors.

MONO Case

Your Harmony guitar comes with a premium MONO case. They provide world-leading protection and unwavering support for your precious instrument.

About Harmony Guitars

Andertons and Harmony go way back. We first took on the brand when our Guildford store opened in the 1960s. Established in 1892 with their focus on folk instruments, Harmony held the title for the highest production rate of any guitar builders right up until the mid-70s.

Now the Californian-based company have returned with a completely refreshed electric guitar line-up. The latest range is a heavy nod towards alternative vintage style and sound. These are for the players who want to stand out from the crowd with distinction.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Semi-Hollow Electric Guitars

Semi-hollow electric guitars combine elements of solid and hollow body designs, offering warmth and resonance alongside improved sustain and feedback control. Typically built with a centre block running through the body, they deliver an open, airy character while remaining stable at higher volumes. This balance makes them well suited to a wide range of styles, from jazz and blues to indie, rock, and alternative music. Semi-hollow guitars respond well to dynamics and touch, providing a versatile, expressive option for players who want depth without sacrificing control.

The Important stuff

Semi-Hollow — Semi-hollow guitars blend the warmth and resonance of a hollow body with the feedback control and sustain of a solid body. Featuring a solid centre block running through the body, they deliver rich, open tones with added bite — perfect for blues, jazz, rock, and soul. From smooth cleans to gritty overdrive, semi-hollows like the ES-335 have become timeless favourites for players who want depth, character, and versatility in one beautifully balanced instrument..
