The Ibanez 540PIII Genesis is a bold reissue of a cult classic bringing back the radical reverse body shape and headstock that made the original P series such a standout in the late 80s and early 90s. Built in Japan with the precision and flair Ibanez are known for it combines sharp looks with a fast-playing Super Wizard 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck and bound Rosewood fretboard giving it the kind of slick feel that invites speedy riffs and solos. Powered by an Infinity R in the neck and a V8 in the bridge this guitar is voiced for punchy rhythm work and soaring leads all kept in check by the rock-solid Edge tremolo system and Gotoh hardware. Lightweight thanks to its Basswood body and finished in a sleek black gloss the 540PIII Genesis balances throwback style with modern reliability making it a serious players instrument built to take the stage by storm.
