Description

The Ibanez AAD51CE is a modern, stage-ready electro acoustic that takes the classic dreadnought idea and supercharges it. With its larger Grand Dreadnought body, innovative A.I.R.port soundhole design and X-M bracing, it delivers a powerful, full-range acoustic tone that you can hear clearly as a player and project confidently through any PA.

Part of Ibanez’s Advanced Acoustic series, this guitar has been designed from the ground up for comfort, clarity and dynamic range. A Low Oval Grip Okoume neck and Advanced Access Cutaway make it easy to move around the neck, while the solid Sitka Spruce top and Sapele back and sides provide a rich, balanced voice that works for strummers, flatpickers and fingerstyle players alike. Plug in via the Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp and you get a clear, natural amplified sound with simple, effective controls and an onboard tuner.

Advanced Grand Dreadnought design

The Grand Dreadnought body has been carefully reworked to give you more volume, a richer low end and a wider dynamic range than a traditional dreadnought, while still sitting comfortably against the body. Extensive ergonomic shaping and a rounded body edge binding help reduce fatigue during longer sessions, so you can enjoy that big, room-filling sound without fighting the instrument.

Player-focused A.I.R.port & X-M bracing

Ibanez’s A.I.R.port places a secondary soundhole on the side of the guitar with a specially designed internal structure that reflects and guides sound towards you. Combined with the X-M bracing, which efficiently transfers string vibration through the bridge to the body, you get a clear, responsive tone with tight lows, crisp highs and a controlled midrange, as well as a more immersive listening experience while you play.

Comfortable neck & high-fret access

The Low Oval Grip Okoume neck with a satin polyurethane finish feels slim and fast in the hand, making chord work and single-note lines feel effortless. A deep Advanced Access Cutaway from the 18th fret, along with a shaved side, opens up the upper register so you can reach higher frets with ease for solos, melodic fills and more adventurous chord voicings.

Stage-ready electronics & hardware

The Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp give you a clear, natural amplified tone with volume, bass and treble controls right where you need them. An easy-to-read onboard tuner keeps you in check on stage, while dual balanced XLR and 1/4″ outputs make it simple to connect to a PA, mixer or acoustic amp. Purpleheart bridge and fretboard, chrome die-cast tuners and Ibanez Advantage bridge pins round out a reliable, gig-ready specification.
