The Japanese-made ATZ is based on the Ibanez AZ and includes all of that model’s intrinsic benefits, as well as adding new features favored by long-time Ibanez artist Andy Timmons – many of which don’t feature on other productions AZ models! This includes a unique pickup configuration featuring two mini DiMarzio® humbuckers.

- S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple Neck: The S-TECH special roasted treatment increases the wood’s stability, durability, water resistance, and tolerance of temperature changes. The neck is sealed with an oil finish which helps make it feel similar to a well-played guitar neck.

- Gotoh® Magnum Lock w/H.A.P. Machine Heads: GOTOH® MAGNUM LOCK® machine heads have an established reputation for tuning stability. Its H. A. P® (Height Adjustable Post) system allows for the adjustment of string posts for the appropriate tension of each string.
- Wilkinson®-Gotoh® VSVG Tremolo: The Wilkinson®-Gotoh® VSVG tremolo unit features smooth arm action and the unique design of its elongated baseplate screw holes helps promote accurate pitch return by eliminating binding. The VSVG’s locking bent-steel saddles provide a vintage tone and feel.
