Often seen on Ibanez’s more premium guitars, the Ibanez AZ Standard range still includes the same dyna-MIX9 switching system which gives you 9 sound variations and can switch between humbucker and single coil modes with just a flick of the mini switch.

Roasted Maple neck – The Roasted Maple neck is heat-treated to increase stability, durability, moisture resistance and tolerance of temperature changes.
Jatoba fretboard – Jatoba has a reddish brown color and produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end.
Jumbo Stainless Steel frets – Stainless steel frets boast excellent corrosion resistance. The wide and tall fret-type offers a quick response and effortless articulation when playing chords and clear tone when playing single notes.
Flamed Maple top / Alder body – The Flamed Maple top displays a beautiful wood grain. The Alder body delivers a well-balanced bright tone, enriched resonance and sustain.
Ibanez Modern Custom pickups – Ibanez Modern Custom pickups feature a dual humbucker configuration with alnico V magnets. They offer powerful tone and a quick response, which pair especially well with overdrive and distortion.
Locking machine heads – Locking machine heads ensure accurate and stable tuning.
