Description

Stand out from the crowd with the crisp, clean curves of the RGDR61G, part of a dazzling limited edition run of white and gold Ibanez S-style axes. This ultra-modern machine is equipped with outstanding hardware and pickup appointments, set up for a sleek playing feel and a killer rock tone to enhance contemporary music styles. Agile Wizard III neck playing comfort Ibanez have opted for their Wizard III neck profile, which amongst their range sits slightly on the curvier side with a larger fingerboard width further up the neck and a still very flat 15.75-inch radius as opposed to the Wizard II’s 17”. This bridges the gap between more of an old school shredder and the very extremes of modern guitars. On top are 24 jumbo frets for classic lead playing touch and excellent connection for those big bends and fast runs. Extended scale length A longer than standard 26.5-inch scale length means the RGDR61G is primed for low tunings, which require greater string tension as you drop down several steps for metal punch. The dark, rich ebony wood is striking addition paired with the all-white body and headstock. On the other side, a slick satin five-piece maple and walnut neck provides fast movement and outstanding rigidity making the RGDR61G an excellent gigging instrument. Along the side of the neck are luminescent side dots so you know where you’re positioned even in dimly lit surroundings. Crisp Fishman Fluence Modern sounds Fishman Fluence Modern ceramic humbuckers bring unparalleled versatility thanks to their ability to switch up across three distinct voicings: a high-output searing aggression, a still very modern passive dynamism and a bright single-coil brilliance. These are the standard for pro guitarists, particularly in metal with countless songs recorded and performed with them. Gold-on-gold pro hardware Ibanez have draped the RGDR61G in glittering quality gold hardware. That includes locking tuners ensuring long-lasting tuning, and a redesigned Gibraltar Standard III ensuring comfortable hand placement.Key Features Limited edition white finish with gold hardware Ultra versatile Fishman Fluence Modern pickups Slim, super fast Wizard III neck profile with satin finish Luminescent side dot inlays Locking tuners for rock solid tuning stability Comfortable low profile Gibraltar Standard III bridge Extanded 26.5-inch scale length suited to low tunings SpecificationsNeck Neck profile: Wizard III Neck Joint: Bolt-on Neck Material: 5pc Maple/Walnut Neck finish: Satin Polyurethane Scale length (inch): 26.5 Nut width (inch): 1.7 Frets: 24 Fretboard material: Ebony Fretboard Radius (inch): 15.75 Fret Type: Jumbo Inlay: Off-set rings String spacing (mm): 10.8 Side Dot Inlay: Luminescent side dot inlay Body Body material: Okoume Body finish: Gloss Polyurethane Hardware Bridge: Gibraltar Standard III Nut: Plastic Tuners: Locking machine heads Hardware colour: Gold Electronics Bridge Pickup: Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker Ceramic (H) Neck Pickup: Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker Ceramic (H) Controls, 1 Volume (Push: Voice 1/ Pull : Voice 2), 3-way toggle switch Other Switches: Fishman Fluence Voicing switch on volume control (push/pull) Strings Strings: D’Addario EXL110 .010/.013/.017/.026/.036/.046 Tuning (from top to bottom): 1D,2A,3F,4C,5G,6D

They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

The most useful differences include scale length, construction, pickup type, neck profile, materials and whether the instrument is intended for amplified, acoustic or hybrid use. Use the narrower guitar categories and feature tags to compare instruments with similar designs rather than relying on appearance alone.
