Description

Meshuggah's Marten Hagstrom defined an entire genre of music, and the Ibanez M80M was one of the tools he used to do it. This 8-string, 29.4-inch scale beast is at the heart of the definitive Meshuggah sound – testament to its inspiring aura and top class quality.

It's powered by a single Lundgren M8P humbucker; often-imitated but never matched, capable of handling thunderous low 8-string tunings with as much crisp articulation you could possibly squeeze out. Ibanez construction doesn't get much better than this, either. The ash body is a classic wood set through with a massive seven-piece maple neck, containing two KTS Titanium rods to keep the guitar ultra stable.
