Description

The Ibanez PS1CM is the ultimate expression of Paul Stanley’s iconic stage persona, capturing the legendary Cracked Mirror look in a premium, Japanese-crafted signature guitar. With a hand-recreated mirror top, classic PS silhouette and a Seymour Duncan HH pairing, it is built to deliver arena-ready rock tones, slick playability and serious visual impact, complete with a protective hardshell case. Combining a Maple top with an African Mahogany body, a fast 3-piece Maple neck and a dark Ebony fretboard, the PS1CM offers a powerful, articulate voice that feels as good as it looks. High-end Gotoh hardware keeps everything rock solid, while the Seymour Duncan ’59 and Custom 5 humbuckers provide the warm, balanced tones that define classic rock and beyond. The Original Cracked Mirror Reborn Ibanez obtained Paul Stanley’s original Cracked Mirror guitar to ensure this model is as authentic as possible. The top is recreated with individual acrylic pieces, each one hand-fitted by Japanese craftsmen to mirror the look of the original stage guitar. Under the lights this finish comes alive, reflecting beams in every direction and making the PS1CM a true centrepiece on any stage. Classic Tonewoods with Modern Punch A Maple top sits on an African Mahogany body, a tried-and-tested combination that delivers a rich, muscular midrange with plenty of low-end depth. The Maple adds snap and definition to your pick attack, helping riffs cut through a dense mix while still retaining warmth and body for chords and lead lines. Fast Neck and Luxurious Fretwork The 3-piece Maple neck offers strength and stability, enhancing resonance and sustain across the 628 mm scale. An Ebony fretboard with acrylic and abalone block inlays provides a smooth, responsive playing surface with tight lows and a crisp high end. Medium frets receive a Custom Shop fret edge treatment, giving an exceptionally smooth feel under the fingers for effortless bends, slides and vibrato. Seymour Duncan Power with Rock-Solid Hardware A Seymour Duncan ’59 in the neck and Custom 5 in the bridge deliver a versatile palette of classic humbucker tones, from warm, rounded cleans to punchy, harmonically rich overdrive. Gotoh machine heads, GE103B-T bridge and GE101Z-T tailpiece work together with the half-bone/half-brass nut to maximise tuning stability, sustain and tonal clarity, ensuring the PS1CM is ready for the demands of live performance. Key Features Hand-Recreated Cracked Mirror Top – The top is built from individual acrylic pieces, each reproduced and set by Japanese craftsmen to faithfully match Paul Stanley’s original Cracked Mirror guitar. This creates a stunning, light-catching finish that turns every performance into a visual spectacle. Maple Top with African Mahogany Body – The Maple top enhances attack and clarity, while the African Mahogany body provides a rich, full mid-low response. Together they deliver a powerful, balanced tone ideal for chunky rhythm work and soaring leads. Seymour Duncan ’59 / Custom 5 Humbuckers – The ’59 neck pickup offers smooth, vintage-flavoured warmth, while the Custom 5 bridge pickup adds tight lows, clear highs and a touch of extra output. This pairing covers everything from glassy cleans to classic rock crunch and saturated solos. Premium Gotoh Hardware and Custom Shop Fretwork – Gotoh machine heads, bridge and tailpiece provide precise tuning and enhanced sustain, while the Custom Shop fret edge treatment on the medium frets ensures an ultra-smooth playing feel across the entire neck.
