Description

The Ibanez RG550 Genesis Purple Neon is a Black from the brand Ibanez that gives plenty, a solid weapon in any arsenal. The Ibanez RG550 Genesis is new for NAMM 2018 and it is sure to stand out with its sound as well as its aesthetics. The lightweight double cutaway body is crafted from basswood offering balanced tones with good tone definition. The RG550s 5-piece neck is strong and sturdy and more resistant to warping than the classic 1 piece. Made from both maple and walnut the neck offers some beautifully bright yet soft tones. The neck is paired with a maple fingerboard for those defined and twangy tonal characteristics. The Ibanez RG550 Genesis is loaded with 3 pickups with HSH configuration; these consist of the V7 at the neck the S1 in the middle and the V8 near the bridge. This combination of Ibanez pickups produces an immense amount of power with sharp articulate tones. Finally this eye-catching guitar is finished in vibrant Purple Neon with a contrasting black pickguard.
