Add a little extra oomph to your signal chain with the Cheeky Pint from Landlord FX. With two modes and a simple set of controls, it’ll unlock punchiness and harmonic detail like you wouldn’t believe!

Optical Compression for Your Tone

The Cheeky Pint has two modes; full pint and half pint. The former is what’ll push your tone to the edge, with plenty of bite to it. The latter offers a smoother, more responsive feel that’ll sound great in any rig.

Three knobs give you just the right amount of control without complicating things. The level controls the volume, the tone tweaks the ‘shape’ of your compressed tone, while the compression knob does exactly what it says on the tin. Treat yourself to a Cheeky Pint!

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

Compressor — A compressor evens out the dynamics of a guitar signal by reducing the difference between loud and quiet notes. It adds sustain, tightens the overall sound, and can enhance clarity and consistency, making it especially useful for clean playing, funk rhythms, and smooth lead tones.. FX — FX, or effects, are guitar pedals and processors used to shape, enhance, or completely transform your sound. They can add anything from subtle colour and warmth to dramatic textures, ambience, and movement, allowing players to craft a tone that suits their style, genre, and playing approach. Whether used individually or chained together, FX pedals give control over dynamics, distortion, modulation, delay, reverb, and more. From simple analogue designs to advanced digital units, effects are a core part of modern guitar setups, helping players create distinctive and expressive sounds.. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own..
