Description

The Laney TI100 Tony Iommi Signature 100W Valve Amp Head is a faithful reissue of Tony Iommis signature amplifier handcrafted in Laneys UK Black Country Customs workshop. Delivering 100 watts RMS its all-valve design combines eight 12AX7 preamp valves with four 6L6 output valves for modern smooth valve tone. Lead and Rhythm channels provide distinct gain characteristics with independent three-band EQ volume Enhance and Presence controls giving extensive control over your sound and response. Both channels feature a switchable pre-boost for driving the front end harder while the TI100s responsive low end is suited to down tuning. Its flexible effects loop offers Side Chain Insert and Bypass modes with return gain control complemented by preamp output power amp input and Sym Link connections. The supplied FS4-TI footswitch provides remote switching while Tonys cross livery internal red glow and new IOMMI logo create a distinctive finish. A custom IOMMI slipcover is included with the amplifier.

Amp Heads

An amp head contains the core tone and power of a guitar amplifier without the built-in speakers, allowing you to pair it with the cabinet of your choice. This setup offers greater flexibility over sound and volume, as different speaker cabinets can dramatically change the feel and character of the amp. Amp heads are available in valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, ranging from low-wattage studio models to high-powered touring rigs. They’re ideal for players who want a modular setup, precise control over their tone, and the ability to adapt their rig to different venues, cabinets, or recording situations.

Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.

100W

Products with the 100W tag have an amplifier or power stage whose stated output is 100 watts. Wattage alone does not determine perceived loudness, clean headroom or suitability for a room: speaker efficiency, impedance, cabinet design, amplifier type and how the power is measured also matter. Compare the complete specification and intended practice, recording or performance use.

Amp

An amp is an amplifier used to boost the signal from a guitar and shape its overall tone and volume. It plays a major role in how a guitar sounds, influencing everything from clean clarity to natural overdrive and distortion, and is a core part of any guitar setup for both practice and live performance.

Amp Head

Guitar amp heads contain the main tone-shaping and power section of an amplifier, designed to be paired with a separate speaker cabinet. They let you choose different cabinets to suit your sound and setup, offering flexibility for home, studio or live use. If you want control over volume, tone and character without being tied to a single combo format, amp heads give you a modular way to build the rig that works best for you.

Valve Amp

Valve amplifiers use vacuum tubes in part or all of the amplification path. Their response depends on circuit design, output stage, speaker load and operating level rather than valve technology alone. Compare power, channel structure, master volume, attenuation, speaker outputs and maintenance requirements.
