The Little Marcus 58R is ready to replicate the worldwide success of Markbass’ Marcus Miller signature heads introduced few years ago. It is the result of the meeting between Marcus Miller — renowned for his groundbreaking style and trademark sound — and Markbass founder Marco De Virgiliis, considered a pioneer of lightweight, portable and powerful bass heads and cabinets.

As for the previous version, it has an amazingly warm and natural sound with clear definition and punch; respecting the priority of tone like all the Little Mark heads, plus a new tone setting with a 5-band EQ on EQ1 (from Ultralow to High) and the two new ‘Old School’ and ‘Millerizer’ filters featured on EQ2 tailored for Marcus — allowing you to quickly attain a vintage tone or an amazing hi-fi slap sound.

The new bi-band limiter featured on this amp responds faster and more dynamically to your playing. It’s paired with a 500W power amp, providing impeccable bass frequency reproduction thanks to Markbass’ proprietary MPT power amp that’s specifically designed for bass. The Markbass Little Marcus 58R amp’s new design features all the connections and controls on the front panel (leaving only the speaker outs and AC power socket on the rear panel), offering optimal ergonomics and making everything more practical.

Stuff About Amp Heads

An amp head contains the core tone and power of a guitar amplifier without the built-in speakers, allowing you to pair it with the cabinet of your choice. This setup offers greater flexibility over sound and volume, as different speaker cabinets can dramatically change the feel and character of the amp. Amp heads are available in valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, ranging from low-wattage studio models to high-powered touring rigs. They’re ideal for players who want a modular setup, precise control over their tone, and the ability to adapt their rig to different venues, cabinets, or recording situations.

Stuff About Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.
