Marshall’s Code line of amplifiers show what you can do with a large library of all valve amps and an amazing team of software designers. After teaming up with the incredible team at Softube, Marshall have created the Code 50 a small and lightweight combo filled with 14 modelled preamps, 4 power amps and 8 speaker cabinets on top of 24 effects. This is truly every Marshall in a box.

Every King Of Marshall

We can’t believe just how many different amps Marshall and Softube worked on modelling and just how good the models are. The 14 MST preamp modules cover everything from classic Bluesbreakers the hard rocking JCM800 and even up to modern JVM and DSL tones. Cabinet wise they again have covered every kind of cab Marshall make from the small 1×12″ 1912 to the mammoth 4×12″ 1960A. The final part they modelled was the power amplifier. Here you have four main options based on the different kind of amps you will see day to day. The EL34 filled Marshall 100w, 5881 filled Vintage Marshall 30w, a more american A/B 5881 Power amp and a small British Class A EL84 designed option. These can all be mixed and matched to form your dream Marshall tone.

24 FX Built In

Moving on from the amps you have a collection of pretty much any effect you will ever need. Compressor, Distortions, Auto Wah, Pitch Shifter, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser and Tremolo on top of the studio quality Reverbs and tap tempo Delays. All of these can be accessed either on the amp, using the Marshall Gateway app or using the programmable controller (sold separately)

Mid Sized Powerhouse

The Marshall Code 50 is easliy loud enough for small gigs, rehearsals and as it is digital can even be turned down low enough for home use. With 50w pushing a 12″ speaker this amplifier has a lot of punch and power coming out of it that make it the perfect amp if you want every kind of Marshall for every kind of situation.

Gateway App and Connectivity

So to give you more control over the sound than Marshall could physically fit on the top of the amp the Code series use an amp for when you really need to dig in deep. With this app you can on the fly change your settings, create presets, manage the amp and even stream music straight to the amp via Bluetooth.
