Description

The Standard Series 00-18 propels a coveted medium-bodied acoustic guitar into the 21st Century. Part of Martin’s Standard Series line-up, this instrument is designed to balance warm lows & mid with articulate treble, making it an ideal versatile strummer or fingerpicking acoustic.

Over 185 years, Martin’s original and most discernible models have largely remained intact and unchanged, demonstrating the winning formula that they established almost two centuries ago. For 2025, they’ve introduced a sweeping wave of updates to elevate the sound, playability, and aesthetics of these cornerstone guitars, from Golden Era bracing to subtle neck & heel improvements.

Grand Concert Classic

Featuring a Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides, this grand concert model presents all the great craftsmanship and tones synonymous with Martin. The contemporary improvements made to this model give you extreme comfort to be able to move around the fretboard with ease, but it remains an iconic instrument at its core. Responsive, timeless, and full of character, this is a guitar that you’ll never want to put down – and play for years to come.

Golden Era Design

The 00-14 Fret body features Martin’s Golden Era (GE) scalloped X bracing, giving the 00-18 richly enhanced sustain and a robust structure that’ll last a lifetime. Enjoy a more comfortable playing experience with the modernised GE bridge, boasting smoother curves and subtler edges. A thinner fingerboard with beveled edges and a sleeker vintage heel are the cherries on top, offering subtle aesthetic enhancements without taking away from the 00-18’s vintage roots.

Please note: the images on this listing are of the previous Martin Standard Series releases, so there may be subtle aesthetic differences to the 2025 models. New photographs coming soon!
