Here's What Mission Engineering Say About the TT-2 Footswitch

The Mission TT-2 is a dual switch for both TS and TRS devices.

The TT-2 is compatible with a large range of digital amps, effects units, MIDI controllers and stomp boxes that support external foot switches. The TT-2 features a resilient metal chassis, and two momentary foot switches with a small click action for tactile feedback.

The TT-2 is switchable between TRS and TS mode. TRS mode supports two switches on a single cable compatible with devices such as the Line 6 HX Stomp, Eventide H9, Fractal Audio MFC, and RJM Mastermind. In this mode you can connect both switches to the device with just a single TRS cable, removing the need for Y cables or adapters.

In TS Mode, the TT-2 can be connected with two standard TS cables. Great if you want to add external switches to two different devices.

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

Dual — Dual describes gear designed with two of the same or complementary features working together, such as dual channels, dual pickups, or dual effects. This allows greater flexibility and tonal range, letting players switch or blend between sounds for different styles, settings, or playing dynamics without changing their setup.. Expression — An expression pedal or expression input allows real-time, hands-free control over an effect’s parameters while playing. It is commonly used to adjust settings such as volume, sweep, depth, or modulation speed, giving players dynamic control and greater expression without stopping to tweak knobs.. Footswitch.
