No one likes carrying around a big bulky case or bag for our guitars but we put up with it to keep them safe. You already have to move you amp and pedals every time you go to a gig or rehearsal and large cases only make it harder. Mono have realized how annoying this can be so they have made the M80 Guitar Sleeve and M80 Bass Sleeve. This is the Black finished version of this case

If you have ever tried to carry a guitar on public transport or have even just tried to get your set up into the venue in one go you know how bad it can be to move your gear. So why not get a bag that is light, small and extremely protective over your guitar, it doesn’t want to let it go!

Easy To Move

You have most likely turned up to a gig before and had nowhere to unpack your guitar so you are stuck at this funny angle trying to hold the bag up while unpacking from the side. With the Sleeve you can unpack your guitar easily when it is stood upright with top loading access. You can unpack faster and easier than ever before, you don’t need to get frustrated during set up any more!

Protects The Neck

We have all seen images of guitars that have been broken at the neck by the friend that knocked the guitar over or the airline bagger who didn’t care. A lot of the time this happens because the neck is not supported properly. You don’t need to worry about that clumsy friend any more thanks to the headlock… no I am not recommending physical violence when they drop your guitar. The Headlock stops the neck from moving in the bag reducing the risk of damage when dropped thanks to its shock absorbing EVA rubber.

Protects The Body

Another common way for guitars to get damaged in transport is when it is put down too hard and the strap bin hits the ground with a lot of force. This can damage the strap button and the body of the guitar if the impact is hard enough. With the Mono Sleeve you don’t need to worry about that as there is a shock absorbent EVA insole at the bottom of the bag to keep it protected against even big drops.

It’s The Small Things

You can carry all of the cables and bits you need for your gig in the large messenger bag like storage compartment that like the rest of the Sleeve is water resistant and very hard wearing meaning you can use this case for years to come. The riveted handle to stop it coming loose and steel buckles and zippers keep this case working all year round no matter how much you gig.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.
