Wah pedals are always the biggest pain to fit on your pedalboard. Full sized options are generally too big to fit on most commercial boards and even a lot of smaller ones are still pretty big. Enter the Mooer Wahter a very cool new lightweight wah pedal with extendable body meaning that you can fit this on any pedalboard with no problems.

Even The Smallest Rig

Mooer is well known for making some absolutely tiny pedals that can easily fit in to almost any rig. No matter if you need it to fit just in your gigbag or on an already packed pedalboard this is going to work for you. Using a small body not much larger than any other Mooer pedal the key to getting the best out of it sits in the extendable pedal. Just flick these two bars with a plectrum and you are ready to perform just like you had a much larger wah.

Here’s what Mooer say about The Wahter Mini Wah Pedal

Dose the Wahter need to be in a huge size format- Is it the only way to turn on/off the Wah pedal by stepping to the bottom- Does the Wah pedal have any more functions- With all these questions, we developed a new Wah pedal—The Wahter. The Wahter recreates the vocal sweep and lush harmonics of the classic wah tone while keeping the tiny size. Using high-quality electronic components, ensuring a good response to your touch and smoothness of the tone. Unique  pressure sensor switch design relieves you from the traditional foot switch design, enabling you to concentrate more on the guitar playing.

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

Mini — Mini describes a compact or scaled-down version of a guitar pedal or piece of gear, designed to save space without sacrificing core functionality. Mini pedals are ideal for crowded pedalboards, travel rigs, or players who want essential sounds in a smaller footprint while keeping their setup simple and efficient.. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own.. Wah — Wah pedals are all about expression. By rocking the foot pedal back and forth, you sweep through frequencies to create that classic vocal-like “wah-wah” sound. From funk to rock solos, the wah adds movement, personality, and attitude to your tone. Think Hendrix, Clapton, or Slash — each used a wah to make their guitar sing. Whether you prefer a classic Cry Baby or a modern auto-wah, this effect remains one of the most recognisable sounds in guitar history..
