This is a New Ortega QUANTUMEXP Expression Trigger Pedal from Ortega, now available in the Guitar Pedals category on Guitars Pedals Amps and Stuff.. Read More below.
The Ortega QUANTUMEXP Expression Trigger Pedal is designed to be used in conjunction with Ortegas QUANTUMLOOP (sold separately). This innovative expression pedal can be connected to the QUANTUMLOOP via the trigger input allowing you to gain more control over the sounds in Bank B. Like other stomp boxes from Ortega the QUANTUMEXP features a solid mahogany construction with a non-slip bottom coating making it a roadworthy companion for the mobile musician.
Ortega is represented on GPAS by nylon-string and acoustic guitars as well as percussion stomp boxes and the Quantumloop system. That makes the individual product type important: a family-series guitar, a left-handed classical model and a loop-enabled stomp box serve very different needs. Compare scale, neck dimensions, body construction, electronics, trigger or loop functions and included accessories using the exact listing.
Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.
Specialist effects pedals cover unusual, highly focused or multi-purpose designs that do not fit neatly into one standard effect family. The category may include experimental modulation, pitch, ambient, percussion and signal-processing tools, so the individual control layout matters. Compare the effect architecture, routing, presets, expression or MIDI options, switching, power requirements and mono or stereo connections before deciding how a pedal will fit the rig.
Guitar pedals alter, route, control or support an instrument signal from the floor. The tag covers individual effects, multi-effects, switching, tuning, looping, amplification and pedalboard utilities. The product category and additional effect tags identify the specific job each pedal performs.
