The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar. Unveiled at the 1985 NAMM Show, this stellar six-string was PRS’s very first production model and it remains their most popular instrument over 40 years later. Distinctive for its bird fingerboard inlays, dual humbuckers, 24 frets and ergonomic contours — the Custom 24 is a modern classic.

Premium tonewoods & hardware

This exquisite electric guitar boasts a stunning figured Maple top paired with a solid Mahogany back. Add in a 25” scale Mahogany neck with a silky Rosewood fingerboard, and you’ve got a recipe for amazing tone and pure playing pleasure. PRS’s Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking machine heads keep everything rock-solid too, so you can confidently dive-bomb and bend without fear of losing tune.

DMO pickups, versatile switching

That stands for ‘Dynamic, Musical, Open’. Designed by Paul Reed Smith himself and the PRS engineering team, these pickups are the result of years of obsessive R&D and blending vintage magic with cutting-edge tech. The result? A wide-open, vocal-like sound that’s clear, expressive and beautifully balanced across the entire frequency range.
