Description

The PRS DGT (that stands for David Grissom Trem) is what happens when over two decades of tinkering, tweaking and tonal obsessing come together in one seriously classy instrument. Built on the beloved McCarty platform, the DGT takes things up a notch with a custom-shaped DGT neck, extra‑tall frets for big bends and smooth vibrato, a pair of beautifully voiced pickups, plus a control layout that’s been dialled in to perfection.
Custom DGT pickups
Powering this PRS stunner is a pair of custom-voiced DGT pickups with dual volume controls and a push/pull tone pot for coil-splitting goodness. The result? A versatile, vintage-inspired tone that oozes character.
Grissom and Paul Reed Smith spent a year A/B-ing more than forty sets of pickups before nailing the voice of the DGT humbuckers. So, you know they’re the real deal!

“The DGT is a product a lot of miles down the road: a lot of gigs, a lot of records. It’s like picking up a vintage guitar. It sounds like a vintage guitar, and out of the box it’s ready to go. There’s a whole lot of thought gone into this. The DGT is pretty perfect to me.” — David GrissomKey Features
