The PRS S2 Range aims to strike the perfect balance between stunning PRS craftsmanship and a more affordable price tag. While these instruments are quite the opposite of cheap, they certainly aren’t in the same price bracket as many high-end PRS instruments; yet they boast unreal playability, gorgeous aesthetics and a level of reliability that’s earned them a solid reputation as performance guitars!

The Custom 24, Reimagined

The S2 Custom 24 takes the winning formula of one of PRS’ most popular guitars – the Custom 24 – and reworks it from the ground up while retaining the most vital elements. The S2 range is made in the same factory as the PRS core line, so you can be sure that it’s crafted with the same attention to detail!

With the S2 Custom 24, you’ve got a mahogany body with a figured maple top, a beveled body design for ergonomic feel, 85/15 S pickups, a push-pull tone knob and 3-way pickup selector. This guitar is both familiar for guitarists of all styles and a breath of fresh air for PRS users!

Simple Yet Versatile

PRS’ famed 85/15 S pickups are known for their ability to extract every drop of resonance and character out of a guitar’s wooden construction. Combined with a simple two-knob setup and a 3-way switcher, your sound will be gutsy and full, yet soft and responsive! These pickups are well suited to hard rock & metal riffage, crystal-clear lead playing, or if you roll off the top-end, it’ll work beautifully in a jazz & blues context.

PRS have also adorned this model with their patented tremolo and low mass locking systems. This means that you’ve got plenty of room for vibrato and expressive playing without having to worry about tuning stability – plus the nickel finish looks great against the Black Amber backdrop!
