Description

The PRS S2 Mira 594 Satin Cloud Burst is a versatile all-mahogany solidbody electric guitar designed to excel across a wide range of musical styles, from rock and blues to garage and punk. Its warm, focused midrange tone is delivered by the vintage-voiced PRS 58/15 LT pickups, which offer authentic humbucking sounds alongside chimey single-coil tones thanks to two mini-toggle coil tap switches. With a bound 22-fret Pattern Thin neck and a slightly shorter 24.594” scale length, this guitar provides comfortable playability and excellent articulation.

Built for the stage and studio alike, the PRS S2 Mira 594 features a PRS stoptail bridge with brass inserts that enhances resonance and sustain, while the PRS Phase III tuners with brass shafts ensure tuning stability and smooth operation. The satin Cloud Burst finish adds a sleek, understated aesthetic that complements the guitar’s solid mahogany construction. Whether you’re gigging or recording, this guitar offers a rich tonal palette and reliable performance.

58/15 LT Pickups

The PRS 58/15 LT pickups are designed to deliver a vintage warm, clear tone with a low turn winding that emphasises midrange focus and dynamic response. With coil tap options, these pickups provide both full humbucker power and sparkling single-coil clarity, allowing you to cover a broad sonic spectrum.

All-Mahogany Construction

The solid mahogany body and neck offer a rich, resonant tone with natural warmth and sustain. The asymmetrical bevel carve adds comfort and style, while the mahogany neck with a Pattern Thin profile ensures fast, smooth playability for extended sessions.

PRS Stoptail Bridge with Brass Inserts

Engineered with curved string slots and brass inserts, the stoptail bridge maximises tonal transfer and sustain. This design enhances the guitar’s resonance, giving your notes greater definition and a fuller sound.

PRS Phase III Tuners

These lightweight, non-locking tuners with wing buttons combine vintage elegance with modern functionality. Their brass shafts help promote tone transfer, contributing to a louder, more resonant instrument while maintaining excellent tuning stability.

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Burst

A burst finish refers to a guitar finish where the colour gradually fades from a darker outer edge to a lighter centre. This technique highlights the natural grain of the wood while giving the instrument depth and visual character, making each guitar look slightly different.

Common on both electric and acoustic guitars, burst finishes range from classic sunburst styles to modern colour variations. They are popular because they combine a traditional look with a visually striking appearance that complements the shape and craftsmanship of the guitar.
