Description

The PRS S2 Vela continues a legendary lineup of electric guitars, with each of their models offering something unique. This vintage-style guitar, with its sweeping offset body, projects amazing tones and has a flawless finish to match. With an all-Mahogany body and set 22-fret neck, this instrument is warm and sweet in sound yet features crisp, bright-sounding pickups that give it a vibrant voice.

Key Features

  • PRS DS-01 & Narrowfield Pickups – Producing a wide and versatile sonic palette, the 58/15 LT’s are USA-made pickups that enable you to dial in the tones you want.
  • PRS Low Mass Locking Tuners – Tuning stability at its finest, the Low Mass Locking tuners keep your S2 in tune. Locking tuners are known for making string changes simple and easy, and the Low Mass Locking tuners are no exception to that rule.

Rich Tone and Easy Playability

PRS’ S2 Vela boasts a Mahogany body, delivering a warm sound with plenty of harmonic richness in the mid-range. Joining the body is a Mahogany neck carved to PRS’ acclaimed “Pattern Regular” profile. Providing a natural and supportive feel, the neck is also topped with a silky-smooth Rosewood fingerboard that offers a luxurious touch under the fingers.

Versatile Sonic Palette

Loaded with a PRS USA DS-01 humbucker in the bridge and a DS-01 Narrowfield in the neck, the P2 Vela produces a bright and punchy tone that sounds great plugged into your pedalboard or straight into an amp. A coil tap on the tone control allows the DS-01 pickup to split into single coils, allowing you to explore a whole new range of tones.
