Description

The PRS Swamp Ash Special is built for players who demand a stage-ready workhorse electric guitar that’s built to be versatile! With a variety of jaw-dropping finishes available, there is a Swamp Ash Special to suit every type of player.

Swamp Ash has specifically been selected due to its unrivalled tonal balance across the whole EQ spectrum with articulate highs and rich resonate lows and mids. Its 22 frets over a 25” scale length make this guitar equipped for everything and is comfortable to play up and down the whole fingerboard and the 58/15 humbucker pickups with Narrowfield middle provide powerful, versatile tones with the perfect balance of punch and clarity.

Key Features

  • PRS Patented Tremolo – One of the designs that helped put PRS on the map back in the ‘80s! The perfect balance of comfort, tuning stability and tonal transfer.
  • Phase III Tuners – The perfect blend of vintage aesthetic and modern design. Utilising unplated brass shafts for unparalleled tonal transfer as well as precision gear ratios for effortless tuning the Phase III tuners are possibly the most thought-out guitar tuners.
  • 58/15 LT – Vintage-inspired humbuckers that offer an open and lively full-frequency sound with enhanced mids and focused articulation.

Unbelievably Versatile

With its duo of 58/15LT humbuckers in combination with the Narrowfield middle pickup, 5-way selector switch and its pair of coil-tapping mini-toggle switches there is a total of 12 pickup options available resulting in an electric guitar that truly covers every base from mild jazz to rip-roaring rock!
