Description

The Revv G2 Green Channel Preamp Overdrive V2 delivers amp-inspired crunch and boost tones in a compact all-analog pedal. Developed alongside Nashville session players it captures touch-sensitive edge-of-breakup response with the clarity and feel of a premium tube amplifier. Whether used as your main drive a transparent boost or a tone-shaping preamp the G2 brings refined versatility to any pedalboard setup. Based on the Green channel of Revvs flagship Generator amplifier series this V2 revision refines bloom sustain and sag for a more authentic classic response across all gain ranges. With three Drive voices a powerful 3-band EQ and true bypass operation it moves seamlessly from clean enhancement to early 80s high-gain territory. Designed to feel as natural as it sounds the G2 responds dynamically to picking attack and guitar volume changes making it equally effective into traditional amps or modern modelling rigs.

More info about this Product

Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

Preamp & DI Pedals

Preamp and DI pedals shape an instrument signal before it reaches an amplifier, mixer, interface or PA. They can provide EQ, gain, speaker simulation, balanced output, ground lift or instrument-specific control. Compare input and output format, impedance, phantom-power behaviour, cabinet or IR options, footswitch functions and whether the unit is designed for guitar, bass or acoustic instruments.
