The Roland Jazz Chorus is legendary for clean tones and chorus sounds that are achieved by the stereo speaker setup. And This is the JC22, a smaller, home version of the classic clean amp.

It’s solid state, meaning that instead of tubes you have transistors in the circuit which optimize it’s clean sound. Chimey, warm and sparkly are the words that would spring to mind.

On-board Chorus

The sound of chorus is when the same signal comes out with a miniscule delay create a flangery, washy type sound and is easily imitated by guitar pedals. The JC22 can do it for real with 2 speakers on board giving you a very wide, lush chorus sound. The on-board reverb is incredible too, and even when cranked you can still hear your guitar cutting through.

Clean

Due to the amps clean headroom, it will take pedals really well and is even clean enough to act as a monitor for amp-modelling effects.

Perfect for home

With 2x 6.5″ speakers it’s not too loud for home use, and will look really classy in the lounge or front room. Perfect for practice, or just jamming at home especially if you want a rich, wider guitar tone that you’d normally get from a small cheap practice amp.
