Description

The Schecter Damien 6-string was built especially for metal. No matter whether it’s quick, accurate solos, or powerful, chugging riffs, this guitar will take on both with absolute gusto.

Considered Construction

A mahogany body forms the backbone of this guitar. This wood is characterised by a thicker low-end, with a presence that ensures you won’t be missed while onstage. Mahogany is comfortable too – letting you practice, perform or record for hours on end with ease. Add to this a double-cutaway neck joint, and you can easily access the entire length of the fretboard.

Innovative Pickups

Schecter constantly innovate and strive to improve their pickups with every new release. On the Damien, they’ve incorporated the latest iteration of their impressive pickup production – the Schecter Diamond Heretic. This passive humbucker squeezes every tonal drop out of the Damien, with one fitted in the bridge position, and the other in the neck.

The pickup design features a pair of outer ceramic-8 magnets. These house an Alnico-V magnet which offers a seriously high output. The result is an aggressive tone that manages to still maintain a subtle edge.

Electric Guitars

Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.
