Description

The Schecter Omen Elite-6 is a shredder's dream with its thin neck profile, extra-jumbo frets, Floyd Rose locking tremolo and powerful pickup pairing. This is a guitar that truly belongs in the 21st Century with its modern feature-set and killer aesthetics – designed specifically for players seeking uncompromising performance without breaking the bank.

Premium Body Construction

A Mahogany body gives the Schecter Omen Elite-6 a reassuring weight; delivering a rich, mid-heavy sound that brings out the best in the high-output Schecter-designed humbuckers. Adorned with a beautiful arched Burl top – this guitar will get plenty of attention on stage!

Ultra-Fast Neck

Schecter's Omen Elite-6 comes fitted with a Thin 'C'-shaped neck that provides plenty of comfort for your fretting hand; ensuring sublime playability with not just its lean shape, but also its smooth non-sticky finish. Constructed from Maple, you can expect a snappy response with plenty of top-end attack when playing fast intricate riffs or complex solos.

Fitted with an elegant Rosewood fingerboard that offers a luxurious touch under the fingers, this comes equipped with 24 extra-jumbo frets that enhance sustain and enable easier string-bending and vibrato techniques. The contemporary 14" fingerboard radius gives you a relatively flat surface to fret upon too, making sweeps and fast legato runs an absolute breeze to play!

Floyd Rose Special Tremolo

The Omen Elite-6's Floyd Rose Special tremolo will ensure rock-solid tuning stability, even after the most brutal of divebombs. Featuring a recessed mounting design, you can even raise the pitch and achieve mind-bending flutters for crazier "squealies" and pitch-altering effects! It's limited edition 'Hot Rod' styling is exclusive to Schecter Guitars, and boasts a mix of black and chrome parts for that extra sense of physical finesse.

Schecter Diamond Heretic Pickups

The most noteworthy feature of this instrument is its potent pickup pairing. Installed with Schecter's proprietary Diamond Heretic humbuckers, you can expect crushing tones with high-gain – dishing out tonnes of power and unbelievable mid-range clarity. They're not one-trick ponies though, as these pickups clean up nicely with subtler amp settings.

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

S Style Electric Guitars

S style electric guitars are known for their comfortable contours, versatile tones, and expressive playability. Typically featuring a double-cutaway body and a vibrato bridge, they offer easy access to higher frets and a naturally balanced feel whether standing or seated. Their pickup configurations often favour clarity and articulation, making them well suited to clean sounds, edge-of-breakup tones, and expressive lead playing, while still handling heavier styles with the right setup. S style guitars are valued for their responsiveness to touch and dynamics, making them a popular choice for players who want an instrument that feels fluid, familiar, and adaptable across a wide range of music.

Tremolo

Tremolo is an effect that creates a rhythmic pulsing by varying the volume of the guitar signal up and down. It can be subtle and smooth or choppy and pronounced, adding movement and texture to clean tones and is commonly associated with classic amps and vintage-style sounds.
