Schecter’s Reaper range of guitars are sleek, sharp and aggressive performers. Built for modern metal at pro standards.

From style to sound, the Reaper turns heads in contemporary custom shop fashion.

Body and Neck

The striking Poplar Burl top is a high-quality appointment, and one of the most sought-after chic guitar woods. It dips off into a bevelled Swamp Ash body designed to position the picking hand as comfortably as possible.

Attached is a multi-ply Maple and Walnut neck, reinforced using a carbon fibre truss rod. This keeps neck movement to a minimum and intonation extremely stable.

On top of the ultra-thin ‘C’ shape neck is a beautifully smooth and flat Ebony fretboard. Embedded are 24 extra-jumbo frets and offset inlays. Ideal for fast, accurate guitar work.

Sound

The Reaper is equipped with Schecter’s own brand of famous Decimator pickups. Some of the best made-in-house humbuckers in production.

Decimators produce a massive amount of high-output midrange frequencies, shaped to cut through layered and expansive mixes. But they’re sonically versatile enough for warm cleans and tight, crunchy overdrive.

Hardware

Schecter understand the importance of long-lasting tuning stability and solid hardware. You’ll either find a top-of-the-line Schecter custom hardtail bridge or Floyd Rose 1500 tremolo installed for your choice of versatility.

Paired with a Graph Tech nut, the Reaper is a guitar to withstand aggressive playing styles and road punishment.

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.
